Head of Revenue

Livingly Media is searching for an innovative and ambitious Head of Revenue to own our sales strategy, drive profitable growth, and expand our product portfolio, both within our legacy media business and beyond the traditional ad unit.  You should be a seasoned digital media expert and be passionate about designing the sales story, generating new business, and building teams.

 You’ll manage our current Ad Operations & Analytics and Sales teams (expanding each as required) and will report to the CEO. You should understand the challenges and opportunities facing digital media companies today and have a strong pulse on industry headwinds.  You must be able to work collaboratively and constructively across all functional areas. You’ll be part of an entrepreneurial-minded company and should be excited about the opportunities and responsibilities that brings: access to and influence on all areas of the business and the hands-on ability and drive to make things happen.

This position can be based either in our New York City sales office or at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA; in either case you should be prepared to travel regularly between our two offices to remain connected to key Livingly stakeholders and to represent us with the media industry at large.

Responsibilities

  • Along with the CEO, revamp and continuously refine Livingly Media’s go-to-market sales strategy: develop the pitch, create the materials, and identify new opportunities.

  • Drive initiatives around new revenue sources, including affiliate commerce, data & insights, newsletters, and events.

  • Expand our legacy programmatic display and video media business by activating preferred deals and optimizing current deals to increase volume and yields.

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with buy-side decision-makers at advertisers, agencies, DSPs.

  • Hire and develop a world-class sales and partnerships team; define territories and comp plans; foster an ambitious and collaborative team spirit.

  • Own our best-in-class ad operations and, together with our engineering team, drive our ad stack strategy.

  • Drive thought leadership and educate internal stakeholders on complex issues related to programmatic strategy, monetization, and ad operations.

  • Evangelize Livingly Media and our brands through everyday meetings and at major industry events.  

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital/media, preferably with women’s lifestyle brands.

  • 5+ years’ experience with any combination of the following: programmatic sales/strategy, data sales, media buying, ad operations, data & analytics.

  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Extensive familiarity with top digital advertising technologies, including DFP/GAM, SSP’s, DSP’s, ad quality scanners, DMP’s, etc.

  • Comfort and fluency with large amounts of data and experience with analytics tools (GA and Looker preferred).

  • Passion, enthusiasm, and can-do attitude; willing to execute at any level.

  • Dynamic speaker, presenter, and storyteller.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required

Senior Manager, Ad Operations & Analytics

The Senior Manager of Ad Operations & Analytics will lead our ad ops team, run and optimize our ad stack, support and enable our programmatic sales team, and manage relationships with SSP’s and other ad tech partners. Our ideal candidate is inquisitive, service-oriented, gets excited to find the needle in the haystack and takes pride in operational excellence. You should deeply understand the digital advertising industry in general, and programmatic strategy and technology specifically.

In addition to managing our ad ops team, you’ll own the business analytics function at Livingly Media, working collaboratively across functional areas to provide actionable revenue insights to stakeholders. You’ll be part of an entrepreneurial-minded company and should be excited about the opportunities and responsibilities that brings: access to and influence on all areas of the business and the hands-on ability and drive to make things happen.

This position will be based in our Redwood Shores, CA headquarters and reports to our Head of Revenue. You will also travel periodically to our sales office in New York City and nationally for select industry/partner events.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital publishing, ad technology, or media buying.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.

  • Extensive familiarity with top digital advertising technologies, including Google Ad Manager, SSP’s, ad quality and viewability solutions, DMP’s, etc.

  • Proficient in the language of digital media and measurement: sessions, impressions, eCPM, CTR, viewability, fill rate, etc.

  • Comfort and fluency with large amounts of data and experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker preferred; SQL nice-to-have).

  • Extremely detail-oriented and dependable.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Senior Software Engineer (Python, Django, Javascript) – San Francisco Bay Area

Details:

  • Build and maintain core features for our network of websites.

  • Ship your code quickly and get it in front of tens of millions of people.

  • Contribute to all aspects of project lifecycle design development testing and deployment.

  • Meet with stakeholders and contribute toward product decisions and iron out requirements.

  • Help build out new websites as we expand our content to new categories and audience.

Requirements:

Programmatic Account Manager

The Programmatic Account Manager will join a small but growing team at Livingly Media responsible for all Programmatic campaigns, operations and client management.  As the Programmatic Account Manager, you will be responsible for operationalizing new campaigns and PMPs, monitoring delivery and deal health, setting up reporting and ensuring campaigns meet client expectations. You will primarily support Programmatic Sales Manager(s) You will also work closely with Yield, Ad Operations, and Business Development. This role is critical to the success and growth of the Programmatic Sales team and is based in New York.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are self-motivated with a willingness and comfort working in a 'startup' and agile environment

  • Execute initial setup and ensure the successful delivery of all programmatic campaigns

  • Monitor deal health of private marketplaces (auctions and preferred) and programmatic guaranteed deals

  • Work with agency contacts to optimize, troubleshoot and increase spend

  • Set up ongoing reporting for all new campaigns for the salesperson and client

  • Work closely with Programmatic Account Executive to manage client relationships, and ensure clients’ needs and goals are met

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • Familiarity with digital media and programmatic advertising specifically trafficking and optimizing campaigns using GAM (Adx)

  • An excellent multitasker with the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment

  • Experience with ad serving reporting and trafficking interfaces

  • Proactive and solution oriented nature

  • Excellent customer service skills with clients
