Erica Carter | CEO

Erica Carter became Livingly Media’s CEO in April 2017. Erica previously served as Livingly’s General Manager, and originally joined the company in 2013 as its first Head of Finance. She has extensive finance and operational experience with consumer-oriented internet and e-commerce companies. Her prior work experience includes management roles at One Kings Lane and Williams-Sonoma, Inc., after beginning her career at Ernst & Young LLP. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruce Martin | CTO

Bruce Martin serves as the CTO of Livingly Media with 20 years of professional experience in engineering and software development. Part of the launch team for Livingly Media, he focuses on the performance, reliability, and flexibility of technical systems. He also developed a content matching system that underlies the company’s ongoing content relationships. Prior to joining Livingly, he was an architect at LookSmart, Ltd., where he optimized and improved the relevance of general search and ads. During his time there, he also co-authored a patent for high-performance collection and delivery of ads. Bruce served as an engineering lead at SAIC, where he developed large-scale battlefield simulations and worked on R&D projects involving data mining.

Jill Slattery | Editor-in-Chief

Jill Slattery serves as the EIC of Livingly Media. Jill originally joined the company as a journalist on the Zimbio team, where she attracted an ever-growing audience of fans and readers. As Editor-in-Chief, she now manages the creative teams for Zimbio, StyleBistro, Lonny, and Livingly.com. Jill is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Theater and English.

Erik Kokkonen | SVP of Product Development

Erik Kokkonen serves as SVP of Product Development for Livingly Media. He joined Livingly in 2017 and leads the company’s product, engineering, and UX functions. His career spans more than 20 years with media and technology companies including CBS, CNET, Ziff Davis, 33Across, Softonic International, and Westfield Labs. Erik is a graduate of Boston College and New Charter University, and he is the co-author of six patents covering search and location-based technologies.
